Elmer        Ginny

Some 50 years ago, Elmer & Ginny exchanged vows in a small Congregational church of the quaint little town called North Reading, Massachusetts. Experiencing 4 of 7 continents and over 25 countries through the last 50 years, they have woven a blanket of  warmth and kindness with strands of memories that have reached numerous people.

Got a second?  Check it out.

See this guy here?   that's Elmer Jones.  He grew up the 3rd child of 6 in a little town called North Reading. Played Hard, but worked harder. His teen years were spent at a general store as a clerk. His uncle Jack and dad (Elmer too) had been partners in a store called Jones Brothers.  The store was a typical small town general store. Groceries, meat market, hardware store, and also a soda shop.  The store was in the center of town, and the only one for miles. Most people knew the Jones boys from the store.

Now check out this young lady. that's Virginia (Ginny) Bigham. The Bigham family moved to North Reading from Watertown when Ginny was a very young girl. Ginny's dad, Carl Bigham, had a construction company and built several residential developments throughout North Reading. Ginny was the youngest of three Bigham children. Along with a booming construction company, the Bigham family had a farm that supplied the local general store (Jones Brothers) with chickens and eggs.  Getting the picture?

As the story "goes".  Ginny used to ride her horse to the center of town to pick up some things at the Jones Brothers general store.  Elmer being a real shy person, then anyways, hadn't really noticed Ginny. Well into the teenage years Ginny got the idea to encouraged one of Elmer's best friends, Leslie (Wingy) Tarbox, to have Elmer ask her out on a date. She did!...then...He did!..then...He Did!...then...They did!... and the rest is a tremendous 50 year journey of Loving, Caring, Giving, & Sharing

Come on In....They're only people you know.
